Walk a Mile in Her Shoes
Join us for a mile-long walk down the seawall “in their shoes” for our close out event for Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
The walk will begin on 25th and Seawall Blvd. in Galveston.
Friday, October 20th, 2023 at 6:00 PM
We are walking for children, for families, for men and women who have been affected by domestic violence.
We would be honored if those in attendance could provide a donation of toiletries for the residents in our emergency shelter or a monetary donation.
No pre-registration is required, and the event is open to the public. Just bring your walking shoes and an open mind and we will take care of the rest!
